Georgia's judo team training
My training is a little bit different than Georgia's training. my training starts with bowing in and then consists of a warm up, rolls, then we start to do some uchi komi (repetition practice), after that we start to do uchi komi while moving down the line to get the feel of moving and throwing. sometimes we will also do Ground work which is called newaza. when we are done doing our uchi komi, we will start doing more intense stuff like randori (sparring) and sute geiko (throwing practice). we will end our practice with a cool down and then we bow off. I also do training off the mats like running and weight lifting. I do all of my extra training with my trainer Keith Mayerson and Rob Lewis, at the northern sport centre in the UNBC campus.
